City asks Juniper residents to save water after Valleyview main pipe break

KAMLOOPS — Residents of Juniper Ridge are being asked to keep water use to a minimum as crews work to repair an early morning water main break.

The break took place at about 5:45 a.m. Thursday (Dec. 3) along Highland Drive near the Valleyview Arena.

City of Kamloops Utility Services Manager Greg Wightman says Juniper residents should limit their water use throughout the day and into the evening while crews work on repairing the break.

Wightman says it’s anticipated the repair should be finished by about 10:00 p.m.
