KAMLOOPS — The interim president and CEO of Kamloops-based B.C. Lottery Corporation says he will step down in January.

Greg Moore assumed the role on an interim basis in September, 2019. He took over from Jim Lightbody, who is on medical leave as he battles cancer.

Moore, a former mayor of Port Coquitlam, says he will leave the organization as of January 15, 2021 to pursue a private sector opportunity.

Board Chair Peter Kappel says the organization will “take the time necessary” to choose a new interim president and CEO.
