Employee at Valleyview Domino’s Pizza tests positive for COVID-19

KAMLOOPS — Domino’s Pizza has confirmed one of the employees at its Valleyview location in Kamloops has tested positive for COVID-19.

In an email to CFJC Today, Domino’s Vice President of Marketing and New Product Development Jeffrey Kacmarek says the location was temporarily closed for a thorough sanitization after the employee informed the company of the test result.

The date of the positive test and temporary closure was not revealed, but Kacmarek says the individual has not worked at the store for five days, since Nov. 11.

The individual will remain self-isolated until safe and Kacmarek says the restaurant is abiding by all Interior Health guidelines regarding COVID-19.
