BRAD PITT WINS LEGAL BATTLE: Brad Pitt is victorious in his bid to get a $100K suit against him thrown out. Kelli Christina sued him for being scammed out of $40K by a con artist posing as Pitt. While she eventually figured out she wasn’t being conned by Pitt, she still sued him, and claimed in court docs that he should have done more to protect fans from imposters. A judge granted Pitt’s wishes in Texas court, dubbing her claims “meritless” in papers seen by Page Six. Christina told the paper she would appeal.

PATRICK SCHWARZENEGGER STANDS BY CHRIS PRATT: Here for his brother-in-law! Patrick Schwarzenegger responded to the Internet dubbing Chris Pratt the “worst Hollywood Chris,” telling Variety: “It’s crazy. Twitter is a junkyard, right? I mean, every day there’s something. People are calling out this person or that person, or let’s get mad at this person.” Patrick is Chris’ wife Katherine Schwarzenegger’s sister. He said: “People are so focused on putting other people down to make themselves feel better. It’s sad, honestly.”

THE CROWN STAR EMMA CORRIN HOSPITALIZED AFTER TOUGH SCENE: Emma Corrin, who stars in Netflix‘s The Crown as Princess Diana, has revealed that she was hospitalized after filming a scene in Spain. She told Glamour: “I’m asthmatic and had been ill for a while with a cough,” adding: “I had to film a scene in a freezing-cold swimming pool. It was the hardest scene to film because I was genuinely keeping myself alive treading water. We were meant to be flying back that night to the UK and went past a hospital to get antibiotics.”

POLICE ARREST MAN WHO THEY SAY ATTACKED RICK MORANIS: A month after Rick Moranis was the victim of a random street attack, police arrested a suspect. “Thanks to an eagle-eyed sergeant from @NYPDTransit, this suspect has been apprehended and charged,” the New York Police Department tweeted on Saturday.

JONATHAN SCOTT RESPONDS TO ZOOEY DESCHANEL ENGAGEMENT RUMORS: Will they or won’t they? HGTV star Jonathan Scott told Sirius XM‘s The Covino and Rich Show that he and Zooey Deschanel are not engaged. He joked, “I’m pretty confident that I will ask my girlfriend to marry me before I tell a reporter.” Scott added: “We were actually laughing because almost every story that comes out is ‘Drew Gives Permission for Jonathan to Wed Zooey’ or ‘Drew Gives His Nod to the Relationship.’ And so we coined the phrase, we were laughing, we’re like, so is Drew my ‘Brother-Daddy?’ Does he have to approve everything that happens in my life?”
