Kamloops band plans online Remembrance Day shows to support local Legion

KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops band says it has noticed how much the local Legion has struggled with the COVID-19 pandemic, and it wants to help.

Loops, comprised of Kevin Roy and Jon Fennell, has three online shows planned for Remembrance Day. The shows will be streamed on the band’s Facebook page.

The performances will take place Wednesday (Nov. 11) from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

While there is no charge to view the shows, the band asks viewers to make a donation to its GoFundMe page. Funds will go to the Kamloops Legion.

Loops has set a fundraising goal of $2,500.
