KAMLOOPS — The Corryn Brown rink from Kamloops is off to a winning start to its competitive curling season. Team Brown defeated Mary-Anne Arsenault of Kelowna 10-7 to win the 12 team Kelowna cash bonspiel.
After dropping their opening game, Team Brown went 4-and-1 to win.
Team Brown are the defending B.C. Champions and have an automatic bye to the Scotties provincials set for McArthur Island in late January.
