A Kamloops Blazers’ tradition, Teddy Bear Toss moves online

KAMLOOPS — The restriction on indoor gatherings due to COVID-19 has thrown the Western Hockey League season into doubt — and with it, the many charitable endeavours carried out by the Kamloops Blazers.

One of the foremost of those endeavours is the annual Teddy Bear Toss, benefiting the Royal Inland Hospital pediatric department.

This year, the RIH Foundation says the toss will take place online. To donate to the cause, follow this link.

The foundation has set a fundraising goal of $5,000 to restock the hospital’s stuffed toy supply.
