Tk’emlups Remembrance Day ceremony to be held virtually

TK’EMLUPS — Tk’emlups te Secwepemc says its Remembrance Day ceremony next week will be held virtually only, out of respect for COVID-19 pandemic distancing guidelines.
Representatives of veterans’ families will be invited to lay wreaths at the Tk’emlups cenotaph — one family member and one wreath each — beginning at 10:30 a.m. next Wednesday.
The ceremony will be available for online viewing on the Tk’emlups website.
Meantime, the Kamloops Legion is reminding the public that the Kamloops Remembrance Day ceremony will be open only to veterans.
