One dead after two-vehicle crash south of 150 Mile House

150 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — UPDATE: RCMP say this morning’s crash involved a Kia Rio and an empty logging truck.

The driver of the Kia was pronounced dead at the scene.

Cpl. Saunderson says roads were slippery and slushy at the time, though that has not been definitely cited as the cause of the crash.

EARLIER: North District RCMP say one person is dead following a two-vehicle crash south of 150 Mile House on Highway 97.

Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says it happened just after 5:00 a.m. this morning and occurred at 141 Mile House.
