Milobar returns to Victoria for Kamloops – North Thompson

KAMLOOPS – Peter Milobar of the BC Liberal Party has been re-elected as MLA in Kamloops-North Thompson, keeping the seat for the party.
Milobar received 7028 votes, compared to 6237 for Sadie Hunter of the NDP. That’s a difference of 791 votes. With one poll and mail in ballots yet to be counted, these results could change.
Thomas Martin of the Green Party finished third with 1657 votes, while Dennis Giesbrecht, representing the Conservatives, polled 1561 votes and Brandon Russell, running as an independent, received 125 votes.
