B.C. Liberal Tegart re-elected in Fraser-Nicola

KAMLOOPS – Jackie Tegart of the BC Liberal Party has been re-elected as MLA in Fraser-Nicola, keeping the seat for the party. It was expected to be a close vote, and it was, and with one poll and mail in ballots to be counted, this is a riding that could change..
Tegart picked up 4703 votes, 385 votes ahead of Aaron Sumexheltza of the NDP, who had 4318 cast in his favour.
There were 1419 votes cast for Green Party candidate, 381 for Independent candidate Dennis Adamson, and another independent, Mike Bhangu, had 292 votes.
