Wildlights will light up the B.C. Wildlife Park again for 2020

KAMLOOPS — One of the B.C. Wildlife Park’s most popular attractions is going ahead this year – with COVID-19-related restrictions in place.

In a social media post, the park says Wildlights 2020 is a go, from December 11 to January 3.

The park will open only for the evenings on those days, beginning at 5:00 p.m. Only 500 tickets will be sold for each night in an effort to limit the amount of people inside the gates.

The Wildlife Express train will not run during Wildlights, and Santa has informed the park that he will be staying home at the North Pole in order to help keep everyone safe.

Wildlights typically attracts thousands to the park every year, as park staff set up more than 800,000 lights throughout the grounds.
