OTTAWA — Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo MP Cathy McLeod has another job to add to her responsibilities.

McLeod announced Wednesday (Oct. 14) that she has been elected as the vice-chair of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Indigenous and Northern Affairs.

McLeod already serves as her party’s critic for Crown-Indigenous Relations.

“I look forward to continuing to listen to Indigenous peoples and studying practical solutions to improve the lives of those living in urban, rural and remote areas,” McLeod said in a news release.
