RCMP seek suspect after brazen Sahali bank robbery

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are looking for a suspect after a Sahali bank was robbed Wednesday (Oct. 7).

According to a news release, the robbery took place at the TD Bank on Notre Dame Drive.

At about 4:00 p.m., a man walked in and demanded money from the teller. When the teller gave him some cash, he quickly left.

“No person was injured in this event and no weapon was seen,” noted Sgt. Darren Michels in the news release. “A search of the area did not locate the suspect and our criminal investigation continues.”
