Calgary man wanted on Canada-wide warrants may have passed through Kamloops, Shuswap

KAMLOOPS — Police say a man wanted for domestic violence in Calgary may have passed through Kamloops this week.

The Calgary Police Service says 21-year-old Wyatt Reader has Canada-wide warrants for assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats, forcible confinement, and five counts of failing to comply with court orders.

The charges were approved after a domestic incident on Saturday (Oct. 3). Police say a woman was violently assaulted.

Officers say Reader was last seen Monday (Oct. 5) in Kamloops and was also recently seen in Salmon Arm. Investigators believe he may be headed to the Lower Mainland.

Police believe Reader is driving a black 2020 Kia Sorrento SUV. It is not registered and may have stolen plates on it.
