UPDATE: Two dead in Sicamous-area crash Tuesday

MARA, B.C. — A man and woman, both in their 70s, and from the Okanagan, were the victims of a crash south of Sicamous Tuesday.

RCMP say the couple was in a car that crossed the centre line on Highway 97A and collided head-on with a semi transport truck.

The truck driver was not injured.

Police haven’t ruled out medical issues, speed or alcohol as factors in the crash with the cause under investigation.
