CP Cancels Holiday Train for 2020
KAMLOOPS — Another casualty of the COVID-19 pandemic. There will be no CP Rail Holiday train crossing the country this year.
In a news release yesterday, CP said they will donate to local food banks, and host a virtual concert to celebrate the holiday season. Donations will go to all food banks that would normally receive them.
CP launched the holiday train in 1999, and CP President and CEO Keith Creel says they plan on having the train back on the tracks in 2021.
