Tk’emlups band alerts members to Chief Casimir impersonator

KAMLOOPS — The Tk’emlups te Secwepemc (TteS) Chief and Council say someone has been impersonating Chief Rosanne Casimir.
In a news release, the TteS reminds community members that any correspondence from Chief Casimir or councillors would come from emails using ‘@kib.ca’ domains and on official TteS letterhead.
It notes staff email addresses consist of the TteS employee’s name followed by ‘@kib.ca’.
Anyone who has been contacted by someone claiming to be Chief Casimir is asked to contact the TteS communications department by emailing communications@kib.ca.
