In Loving Memory of Elaine Carol Damm May 13, 1942 – August 15, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mom, grandma, great-grandma and sister at the age of 78 years after a long and hard fought battle with Alzheimer’s. She will be forever missed by her son Dean Damm; daughter Melissa Dahlgren; sister Valerie Nicholson and their families. Elaine was predeceased by her parents Roy and Kathleen Bean.

A heartfelt Thank-You to the staff in Elm and Blueberry units at Overlander Residential Care for the exceptional care given to mom. You are very special individuals who were all absolutely incredible with her, as well as with our family, always showing love and respect. Thank-You also to Dr. Wynne and Dr. Van Der Merwe for your wonderful care throughout the years. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.

Mom, you have shown remarkable strength. Your struggle is finally over. Rest easy now.
