Kamloops-Thompson School District confirms dates, details for back to school

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops-Thompson School District has confirmed some dates and details as students prepare for going back to school.
The district says all elementary and secondary students will return on either Thursday, Sept. 10 or Friday, Sept. 11.
Only half of the school’s learning groups will be in the school on each of those days, and the district says it will be in touch with families to inform them which day their child will be back at school.
For parents of students entering kindergarten who have not registered their children, registration is set for three days at schools — September 1 to 3, from 9:00 a.m to 12:00 noon and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
