Teenager arrested, accused of intentionally spilling 1,000 litres of yellow road paint in Logan Lake
LOGAN LAKE, B.C. — A teenager has been arrested after huge drum of yellow road paint was spilled in the District of Logan Lake.
According to a news release from Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey of RCMP Southeast District, the incident happened on Monday (Aug. 17).
Investigators found a drum on the back of a flat deck truck was intentionally drained onto the parking lot of the Logan Lake Recreation Centre on Chartrand Avenue.
O’Donaghey says the 1,000-litre spill totals up to a loss of about $10,000, not to mention a concerning chemical spill.
