Body recovered from Okanagan Lake

WEST KELOWNA — An extensive search led to the recovery of a body of 29-year-old Kelowna man from Okanagan Lake.
RCMP say the body was found late Monday afternoon through the combined efforts of the West Kelowna RCMP, the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team and the Central Okanagan Search and Rescue team.
No criminal charges are expected in the case.
Police were originally alerted to the incident at 6:20 p.m. Sunday evening. A call to West Kelowna RCMP reported a man who had gone swimming at Tug Boat Beach had not resurfaced.
