KAMLOOPS — With the help of a witness, Kamloops RCMP have found the driver of a pickup truck involved in a collision with a cyclist Saturday, August 15th, in the Sahali area.

On Saturday morning about 9:00 AM, a cyclist was hit by a pickup at the intersection of Monmouth Drive and Summit Drive. The cyclist received minor injuries.

The pickup stopped for a moment, then drove away. Staff Sergeant Sascha Fesenko says the RCMP got help from a witness who was able to get the vehicle’s licence plate. He says they located the driver, who was issued a violation ticket and charged under the Motor Vehicle Act.
