John Legend and Billie Eilish Join National Convention

The 2020 Democratic National Convention will feature performances from John Legend, Billie Eilish and The Chicks.

Jennifer Hudson, Common, Billy Porter, Leon Bridges, Maggie Rogers, Prince Royce, Stephen Stills and more.

The DNC will take place August 17-20 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Senator Kamala Harris will officially accept the party’s vice presidential nomination August 19th, while former vice president Joe Biden will formally accept the party’s presidential nomination August 20th.

The performances will include renditions of the national anthem, American classics and new songs. Today’s event will feature a performance of the national anthem from youth choir members across America.

Speakers include Michelle Obama (August 17), Jill Biden (August 18) and Barack Obama (August 19).

The convention will air August 17-20 on the Democratic National Convention app, at demconvention.com/watch and via select TV providers.

The Democratic convention will officially be held in Milwaukee, but Biden plans to accept his nomination from his home state of Delaware. Speakers and performers will join the virtual event from around the country.
