Brocklehurst Crash

Driver injured in overnight Brocklehurst crash

KAMLOOPS — RCMP are investigating a serious crash in Brocklehurst overnight.

According to Staff Sergeant Edward Preto, the collision was reported at about 12:30 a.m. Friday (Aug. 14) around the intersection of Parkcrest Avenue and Nicolani Drive.

The small car left the road and hit a power pole on Parkcrest.

Preto says first responders used the Jaws of Life to help extract the driver from the car. The driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

RCMP investigators are still trying to determine why the driver lost control.
