Fatal crash closes Trans-Canada west of Savona

KAMLOOPS – A two-vehicle crash has claimed the life of one person on the Trans-Canada highway west of Savona.

RCMP and BC Ambulance were called out to the crash shortly after 5:00 pm (Aug. 13) at the intersection of Highway 1 and Deadman Vidette.

One person was declared dead at the scene.

The highway has been closed in both directions while RCMP investigate the crash.
