KAMLOOPS — There is a new option for purchasing fresh produce and hand-crafted goods in Kamloops.

The Kweseltken Farmer’s & Artisan Market is a partnership between Community Futures Development Corporation of Central Interior First Nations and Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association.

The first market took place last Sunday (Aug. 2) and will continue through to September 27 at the Kamloopa Powwow Arbor, located at 345 Powwow Trail.

This Sunday (Aug. 9) marks the official Grand Opening ceremony for the market, which provides a venue for Indigenous growers and artisans to sell their products.
