One dead in Clarke Street stabbing

KAMLOOPS – A 39-year-old man has been stabbed to death in Kamloops. The man was killed Saturday morning (August 1) at a home on Clarke Street.

Kamloops RCMP were called to the home at 10:34 a.m. The victim was taken to hospital where he died from his injuries.

A 37-year-old man was arrested without incident at his home next door. He remains in police custody.

RCMP Staff Sgt. Simon Pillay said, “the alleged suspect and victim are known to each other.” said Staff Sgt. Simon Pillay.
