Kanye is on the Ballot

Kanye West has filed paperwork to appear on the New Jersey ballot for president. According to TMZ, the music and fashion icon submitted petitions on Monday (July 27th) with 1,327 signatures. In New Jersey, the requirement for Independent candidates to file for president is 800 signatures. The deadline to get the paperwork is July 31st at 5pm and there’s an objection period where someone can challenge the validity of individual signatures submitted. If there are no objections, Kanye will get a place on the ballot.

Kanye has already submitted paperwork to get on the ballot in Illinois, Missouri and Oklahoma.
