TNRD names new CAO

KAMLOOPS — A man with a lot of experience dealing with issues in our area is the new Chief Administrative Officer of the TNRD.
Scott Hildebrand will take over his new duties August 17th. Hildebrand has worked as the CAO in Merritt the past two years, and prior to that, he was the CAO in Brandon Manitoba. He replaces Sukh Gill who left the job earlier this year.
Former City Administrator Randy Diehl has been the Acting CAO the past six months. Diehl said in a news release that the field of candidates during recruitment was one of the most competitive he has ever seen.
He says that Hildebrand has extensive private and public sector experience and will bring much to the position. Hildebrand is quoted as saying he has become very familiar with the TNRD during his time working in Merritt, and plans to hit the ground running when he starts his new role.
