B.C.’s COVID-19 cases rose sharply over the weekend, including seven new cases in Interior
VICTORIA — The province recorded 62 new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend. In a news release, Health Minister Adrian Dix and provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry announced 21 new cases Saturday (July 11), 20 new cases Sunday and 21 new cases in the last 24 hours. That bumps B.C.’s total number of cases to 3,115.
Over the last 72 hours, there have been seven new cases reported in the Interior Health region.
Across the region, the number of cases are as follows:
- 1,012 (Vancouver Coastal)
- 1,643 (Fraser Health)
- 135 (Island Health)
- 209 (Interior Health)
- 65 (Northern Health)
