Police search for suspects after shots fired on North Shore
KAMLOOPS — Another incident of shots fired in Kamloops overnight.
RCMP Sergeant Kelly Butler says in a release that about 8:30 PM last night, police responded to a report of shots fired in the area of MacKenzie Avenue and Williams Street in North Kamloops.
One residence received a broken window, but fortunately no injuries were reported. Sergeant Butler says the residence was not known to police, and says that residence was not believed to be targeted. Police responded in full force, but no suspects at this point.
Witnesses reported seeing a black SUV leaving the area but there’s no indication that the vehicle was associated with the crime. Police investigation is ongoing, and anyone who witnessed the shooting or has any information is asked to call the RCMP or Crimestoppers.
