City continues to reopen facilities

KAMLOOPS — No news to the contrary with the rainfall over the weekend, so we are assuming that the City’s plan to go ahead with reopening some of its facilities is going ahead today.
Last Wednesday, the City announced that Brock Pool would reopen today for drop-in lap swimming and swim groups only. The wading pool at Prince Charles Park will reopen with new restrictions. The Tournament Capital Centre will expand its services with the reopening of the Wellness Centre and the Athlete Performance Centre.
Organized sports will gradually ramp up as various organizations get their “Return to Sports” plans in place. The Olympic Rink at McArthur Island will be available for booking effective today as well.
All of these reopenings are accompanied by social distancing and limited capacity rules.
