STEVE BING IN DOWNWARD SPIRAL? Hollywood producer Steve Bing‘s suicide shocked many Monday, but Page Six reports that he was battling demons. An insider told the paper: “Steve was the most charming, caring and generous guy you could ever meet. Yes, he liked beautiful women, but it never worked out. He has gone through a dark time for years. He talked about battling mental illness, bipolar disorder. His close friends are devastated about his death but, sadly, not surprised.” Bing is survived by his ex Elizabeth Hurley, and their son, Damian. (Page Six)
IS BRODY JENNER DATING LOUIS TOMLINSON’S EX? TMZ reports that Brody Jenner is dating Louis Tomlinson‘s ex, Brina Jungwirth. The pair were spotted at Nobu in Malibu … with Jenner’s ex Kaitlynn Carter and a few pals. Apparently, the outing was fun and light, and Jenner was seeking Carter’s approval on his new girlfriend, which he received. In August, they will resume filming The Hills. (TMZ)
PENN BADGLEY REACTS TO CHRIS D’ELIA ASSAULT CLAIMS: Penn Badgley is speaking out after his co-star in You, Chis D’Elia, was accused of sexual assault. He said that he was “very troubled” by the claim on The Los Angeles Times podcast Can’t Stop Watching and said that it was part of a larger “systemic” issue. He added: “What does it take to change that? Because it’s not just vetting individuals. There needs to be a change in culture and attitude so that that kind of behavior is so clearly reprehensible, it’s so clearly, like, anti-human.” (E!)
LOVE IS BLIND STARS LC AND MARK CUEVAS SPLIT: Love Is Blind stars Mark Cuevas and Lauren “LC” Chamblin have split over claims he cheated. As fans will recall, Cuevas and Jessica Batten got together on the show, and he proposed to her, before turning to Chamblin. Cuevas tells ET they were never serious: “I enjoyed spending time with LC for a few weeks, but at no point were we in an exclusive relationship, as LC confirmed herself. I wish her the absolute best.” (ET)
