B.C. Wildlife Park noticing huge influx of local visitors in first two weeks after reopening
KAMLOOPS — The B.C. Wildlife Park has been open for two weeks after being shut down for more than two months by COVID-19. Following its June 1 opening, the park has seen visitors come back in large numbers with a different demographic.
Park general manager Glenn Grant says there have been 4,300 visitors to the park since June 1 — more than an average two-week period.
While many of the visitors at this time of year are from outside the city and our region, Grant has not surprisingly noticed a different trend in the first couple weeks back.
