Fire scorches North Shore deck

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Fire Rescue personnel quickly doused a fire on the North Shore Wednesday afternoon (June 10), but not before it charred a home’s back deck.

Firefighters were called to a home at 13th Street and Lethbridge Avenue at about 2:15 p.m.

When they arrived, they found a back deck had burst into flames.

There is no word if anyone was injured.
