KAMLOOPS — Here are the Kamloops Crime Stoppers crimes of the week for June 8, 2020.

Crime of the Week #1

Kamloops Crime Stoppers would like your help solving a moonlight business break-in.

On May 13 at about 3:50 a.m., a man used a crow bar to break through the front door of a Sahali business.

Once inside, he loaded items into his bag before getting into a waiting four-door sedan and taking off.

Suspect clothing description:

  • Light-coloured pants with a black belt
  • Hoodie with the hood up
  • Light-coloured gloves
  • Mask
  • Distinctive white/light-coloured shoes with black laces

Crime of the Week #2

Do you recognize this suspected bicycle thief?

Kamloops Crime Stoppers says the bike was taken on May 17, then left unattended outside of the Husky gas station on the East Trans Canada Highway.

Suspect description:

  • Short, brown hair
  • Wearing a blue hoodie and jeans
  • Carrying a light-coloured bag

Crime of the Week #3

A suspected shoplifter made off without being caught last week – but left an important piece of evidence.

Kamloops Crime Stoppers says the man took items from a Sahali store last Friday (June 5).

When an employee confronted him, he pulled a can of bear spray but did not deploy it.

The suspect ran off on foot, but dropped his cell phone. Crime Stoppers says a photo on the phone “was confirmed to be the suspect.”

  • White
  • Short, brown hair
  • Tattoo on the back of his right hand
  • Wearing a Champion hoodie and sweatpants
