FLASHBACK! 1994 WHL Cup western bantam final — Jardine Blazers vs Leduc

KAMLOOPS — In the 1993-94 season Kamloops Minor Hockey had a powerhouse bantam team in the Jardine Blazers.

Coached by the late Mickey Fritz, and with a lineup that included some future Western League players, including Ajay Baines, Derek Paget, Brent Fritz and John Bradley.

The Jardine Blazers became the first Kamloops team to win the International Bantam Hockey Tournament in the spring of .94.

A couple of weeks later they played host to the WHL Cup for the Western Canada Bantam Hockey Championship.
