CACHE CREEK, B.C. — The Cache Creek area appears to be out of trouble from high water.
The B.C. River Forecast Centre (RFC) has ended a high streamflow advisory for the Bonaparte River and Cache Creek.
In ending the advisory, the RFC says the Bonaparte River is still flowing at a 10- to 20-year rate, but levels are easing.
High streamflow advisories remain in place for tributaries of the North Thompson River near Clearwater and Barriere, as well as the Upper Nicola River above Nicola Lake, the Salmon River near Salmon Arm and tributaries in the North Okanagan.
