B.C. announces 11 new COVID-19 deaths in past 48 hours

VICTORIA — Over the past two days, there have been 11 deaths due to COVID-19 in B.C.

Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry said in her daily news conference on Monday (Apr. 13), that there have been 45 new positive cases of COVID-19 in the past two days.

That brings the provincial total to 1,490, including 136 cases in the Interior Health region.

The 11 new deaths over the past two days bring the provincial death toll to 69.
