KAMLOOPS — Before what we now know as the Kamloops Sports Hall of Fame and Sports Council Athletes of the year awards, Big Brothers and sisters of Kamloops held an annual Sportsmans Banquet.
Along with well known and high profile guest speakers, it also served to recognize Kamloops’ female and male athletes and sports person of the year.
Tonight it’s back to 1985 when one of our own from CFJC was honoured, and Allan Eagleson, before his fall from grace, was the guest speaker.
