Blazers Franklin named WHL all-star

KAMLOOPS — Blazers forward and team captain Zane Franklin has been named to the Western Hockey League second all-star team.

Franklin led the Blazers in scoring in the 2019-20 season with 29 goals, 62 assists and 91 points in 63 games.

The 21-year old from Marwayne, Alberta finished fourth in league scoring..

Franklin’s 62 assists were second best in the league while his 32 power play assists led the league.

Franklin finished his junior career with 77 goal and 213 points in 269 games between the Blazers and Lethbridge Hurricanes.
