Four more COVID-19 deaths in B.C.; Five new cases reported in Interior Health

VICTORIA — The number of positive COVID-19 cases in B.C. continues to rise.

In her daily news conference, provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry reported 53 new positive cases across the province.

That includes five additional cases in the Interior Health region, for a total of 126.

Henry also reported four new deaths due to COVID-19 — three of which are related to two major outbreaks at long-term care homes in the Lower Mainland.
