RCMP find evidence of shots fired in Vernon neighbourhood

VERNON, B.C. — RCMP are investigating a report of shots fired in the 1700-block of 43rd Street in Vernon.

Police responded to the report just after 12:00 a.m. on Saturday (March 21), and evidence was found that confirmed shots were fired.

“Officers conducted neighbourhood enquiries and spoke to potential witnesses to obtain further information,” Const. Kelly Brett, an RCMP media relations officer, said. “Police have not found any evidence indicating anyone was injured in this occurrence.”
