Kamloops RCMP investigating liquor store theft in Westsyde

KAMLOOPS – Police are investigating a St. Patrick’s Day theft at the Westsyde Liquor Store.

At roughly 1:00 p.m. today (March 17), two men entered the store, walked around briefly, and allegedly stole product before running out of the store.

They left and headed toward the North Thompson River. Police set up a perimeter but weren’t able to locate the men, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says in a news release.

Shelkie says the suspects did not have any weapons and they did not make any threats. No one was injured.

The first suspect is described as wearing a bandana over his face, a black toque, dark-coloured jacket and light-coloured pants.

The second suspect is described as wearing a bandana over his face, a dark-coloured toque with a lighter stripe at the top, dark-coloured jacket and dark-coloured pants.
