KAMLOOPS — Another top-level executive position with BCLC has been filled in Kamloops.

In a news release Thursday (March 12), BCLC announced that Yabome Gilpin-Jackson will take the role starting April 15, working from the Vancouver office until permanently moving to Kamloops this summer.

“We are delighted to welcome Yabome Gilpin-Jackson to the BCLC family, where her incredible experience in leadership and organization development will strengthen BCLC’s mandate to offer great gambling and greater good,” said Greg Moore, BCLC Interim President and CEO in the release.

Gilpin-Jackson worked for the Fraser Health Authority for eight years, most recently as executive director.

“In accepting this role I said ‘yes’ to the opportunity to work for another provincial organization and a Crown corporation that directly funds healthcare and higher education, two sectors that I have heart and passion for,” said Gilpin-Jackson in the release. “I also said ‘yes’ to a role that is focused on organization development, leadership, a ‘OneBCLC’ culture and positively impacting B.C. communities.”
