Freshly Brewed Buzz with Woody Allen and Chad Johnson
WOODY ALLEN MEMOIR COMING: Director Woody Allen‘s memoir is set to be released next month by a division of the Hachette Book Group, Grand Central Publishing. “The book is a comprehensive account of his life, both personal and professional, and describes his work in films, theater, television, nightclubs and print,” reads a statement from Grand Central noting that, “Allen also writes of his relationships with family, friends, and the loves of his life.” Apropos of Nothing will drop April 7th. Allen’s reaction to #MeToo and the reignited accusations of assaulting his daughter Dylan Farrow have made him a controversial figure in Hollywood for years. (Page Six)
CHAD JOHNSON ACCUSES GIRLFRIEND OF GAS-LIGHTING: Chad Johnson was arrested after a domestic dispute with girlfriend Annalise Mishler, then hospitalized after concerns over his welfare, and now he is accusing her of lying to him and “gas-lighting” him. In a video posted to YouTube, he said: “To be gaslit, every single day for six months, to the point where you think you’re insane… it caused me to go crazy. I lost myself a few times. I couldn’t figure out why she was with me, because it seemed like she hated me. But I was just so lonely, I guess… I just thought, ‘Stick it out. It’ll get better.’” Later, he admitted that he shouldn’t have lost his temper and gotten “aggressive” during their dispute. (ET)
MICHAEL JACKSON’S SON BLANKET BUYS HOME: Blanket Johnson has bought his own place in Calabasas at 18, though it is quite close to his grandmother Katherine‘s home. The 6,382 sq. ft. home, with six bedrooms and seven and a half baths, cost $2 million. (E!)
