Panic! At the Disco And the Creative Process

Panic! At The Disco mastermind Brendon Urie once again invited fans into his creative process on Wednesday (February 26th), training his Twitch channel webcam on his private studio as he recorded a 1980s-style synthwave track called “1980VRO.”

The process took about 10 hours and Urie broke it up into two different streams as he walked viewers through the production of the song and the various flourishes he added. At one point he muted the stream while he was recording the vocals in order to keep them a secret.

Urie provided a link to both live streams showing the whole process, while the song itself was posted on YouTube.

The singer takes to the Twitch channel to play video games, chat with fans and occasionally make new music — such as a heavy metal song he recorded last summer.
