Kamloops reporter lands a spot on Big Brother Canada

KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops-based reporter has been selected to take part in a popular national TV show.

John Luke Kieper, who works for Kamloops BC Now, will be appearing on the eighth season of Big Brother Canada.

The Global TV show announced its cast list today.

Kieper tweeted last October saying he was “thinking of messing around and applying to Big Brother Canada”.

Nearly 30 people liked that tweet, so he decided to take the decision seriously.

A short time later, Kieper made an audition video and posted it on his Twitter, where 165 people liked it.

Big Brother Canada season eight premieres March 4 on Global.
