Frenchies Poutinerie is leaving Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — What has become a culinary staple of downtown Kamloops is packing up its cheese curds and moving on.

Frenchies Poutinerie announced on Facebook Wednesday (Feb. 19) that it would be closing up shop next Friday.

Frenchies is being relocated to Victoria in the next few months.

“THANK YOU Kamloops for giving us a chance to prosper, grow and learn all while being patient with us,” the post reads. “This community is so wonderful and we are lucky to have called this place our home. Because of this community we have learned how to become a better business for our customers. We will continue to always lend a hand when it’s needed and we will always be grateful for the love we have received.”
